I just made a handbag that has an animation of my left arm holding it. It works fine when I'm just standing but when I walk my walking animation in my AO is overriding it. When I walk my left arm just swings normally. My arm animation is set to priority 4. Now... are walk animations set to priority 4 or does the AO just override all other animations? I assume my arm animation will override the walk animation if I can find a lower priority walk. Or is there any other way to get my arm animation to always override any ao actions?

Sounds like your walk animation is set to 4. Is that common? Pretty annoying.

I bought a "wearable" kitty last week, and with my AO walk the poor thing was getting thrown back and forth, since the walk was overriding the holding anim . Wynx Whiplash has a freebie priority 3 walk (no transfer after you "buy" it) in her main store (first item on her picks). If you're walking up the platform, it's on the other side of the central pillar. If you use a ZHAO (or something else that lets you have multiple AO notecard settings) you can just copy the notecard you have, replace the walk and then load your normal one or the low priority one as needed .

Thanks Kitty for the IM and the posting! That walk works with my bag! I wonder why walks are so high priority since the wiki says that the built-in walk animations are priority 0.
