Hi, so I am one of those SLer's who like to do everything, or at least try. My new objective is to make a custom AV for myself, however, I have been told that I will need animations to make myself float in the air so that I can make a giant AV and likewise, to make myself itty bitty (yes, I used the term "itty bitty";), I will need an animation.

So here is my question, if you have not already figured where I was going with this, where would I find such animations? I'm not familiar with making them myself, although I can learn fairly quick with a step by step tutorial in laymen terms, but would prefer to find a place in-world to buy them.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!

Seraph Heavy Industries Research Park sells a kind of do-it-yourself kit for tinies and also one for giant mech avatars. Perhaps those might help?
The animations themselves are no transfer, no mod however so they won't help you to make avatars to sell.

If you ever wish to get into doing it yourself with Avimator or some such, the basic method is giant animations "offset" the actual avatar by moving the hip (as it is the "root" body part). Tinies "fold" the arms and legs in half.

Thank you! You have given me something else in SL to take up my RL time with...lol. I have the AVmotion program now and have made myself a couple animations for kicks... this is too much fun, however, I tried what you said about the diant and tiny av and I can't get those to work...lol. Any suggestions?

About Giant Mecha Anim.
Speaking of tiny, you have to rotate the both of its abdomen and chest 180 degrees around x-axis, too.

Thanks everyone! If nothing else, this is certainly going to be an adventure!!! I read kage's tutorial... took some tylenol... read it again. I think it will come to me with practice! For sure, this animation making stuff is fun!!!

As for the tiny av... trouble is, when I fold the poor thing in all those twisted directions and then try and upload the file, it says that it Failed to recognize the animation or something along those lines where as when i do a simple hand wave animation it allows me to preview it. Have I distorted the poor av to a point that SL feels sorry for it and won't allow me to flaunt my torture in-world? Or is it something less dramatic?

It is something less drapmatic and less information. :D
Did you start it from the second frame? You'd better not to touch it at the first frame. Although it depends on what kind of error message, it tends to happen when you set keyframes at the first frame and keep the rest. How many frames would you use?
