Animated Stands won't animate!

Why won't my animated stands not animate when used in an AO ? I am using Franimation 1.8.

I'm guessing that they are not loaded into the AO properly. You have to put them inside the AO attachment, then add them to the notecard which is also in the AO, and then tell the AO to reset or reload the animations. Something like '/ao reset'. I don't recall the exact command. Also make sure you are in a script enabled area.

Yes, I did everything the way you suggested right from the start.The problem is that despite doing all that they still won't animate. The stands cycle and appear as they should .... but strictly as static stands. All this in areas where scripts are not turned off of course.

If your animations are correctly loaded into your AO, then the only answer is that their priority level is of the lowest sort, and to that end pretty much useless for using in an AO.

The default stands are priority 0 so I'm not sure it is a priority issue. Even if the animations were also zero the would still play. Do these animations still play all the way when you play them from your inventory? Try a different AO. Like a zhao2 or something.
