I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I can't find where a new user goes with questions. I tried the Knowlege Base, bugot nothing, and I dont see a forum area for new users.
Here in RL I tried to sign up for forum use with my paypal, but it kept saying I was not signed up, so eventually I had to give a credit card.
In SL I have joined several groups which added a string above my name, but how do I switch between the different strings
In appearance I am always looking at the back of my avetar. Is there a way to turn him slowly to see what he looks like from the side and front?
I wear glasses. I can change several things about the eyes, but dont see a way to add glasses

Well DJ you’ve fond the right place to go for answers. No gaurntee they’ll be correct but none the less answers. To change group…easiest way is to right click on your avatar, select Group. That brings up a window with all the groups you are in. select the group you want as a tag then pick the Activate button. If you want no group tag, then select None then Activate.
To turn the camera view hold down the Ctrl+Alt then use the arrow keys or drag your mouse, holding down the Alt key lets you zoom in and out and holding down the shift+Ctrl+Alt lets you pan.
Select the glasses in your Inventory and right click then Wear

A good thing to do is to ask these questions *in* Second Life.
Go to some newbie friendly place such as New Citizens or TUi, and ask around. Also, if you search for education, there are some classes for new people.
Also, YouTube is a great source of tutorials. Just search for Second Life.

Hi DJ, welcome to the forums. Here on the SL forums, the forum called Resident Answers is a good place to ask general new resident questions. It's a little higher up the list, just under Resident-Run Websites. Hope to see you there!
