I am trying to make a sitting reading animation. The figure is set up so it sits in a chair with feet on a footstool. I created an animation with Daz Studio 450 frames and 30fps. The animation has arm movement, head movement and kind of a fidgety leg movement. Keyframes are at 0,1,50,100,200,300,350,400,450 The animation runs nicely in Daz, Poser, Avimator and bvhhacker. But when I upload the arms and head movement are fine but the legs remain static. Tried changing priorities, used standing and sitting. Still no leg movement. Attached are two pictures of what it looks like in Daz Studio - ie the extent of the leg movement. frame50 and frame100 are keyframes. I welcome peoples thoughts ... before I tear all my hair out Gryff Richard

SL needs a minimum degree of change from frame to farme to register any movement on any given joint. I don't know the exact number, but small or very slow movements get ignored. Try moving the legs further or faster and see if those joints get unstuck. I do find this challenging to make movements that are big enough to register that still look natural and realistic.

Thank you Sylvia. From: someone Try moving the legs further or faster Well further was out ... as I wanted reading a book not chair bound gymnastics! However faster was possible. So, for example, I put a new keyframe at frame 75 and then copied the leg settings for frame 100 to it. Repeated this kind of procedure inserting additional keyframes across the animation. So the end result was to get to a position faster then hold it then change again in the same way. From: someone SL needs a minimum degree of change from frame to farme to register any movement I guess. Now all I have to to is load it to the Beta Grid to test. The grid upload Preview seems fine ... just the upload was having database problem - which may have stemmed from a zillion rezzed junk objects in the sandboxes Very many thanks again Sylvia ... keep your fingers crossed for me Gryff Richard
