hi, pretty new to sl in general, but i've seen some customised typing-animations around and i'd like to try taking a crack at making one myself.
the only program i have is avmator at the moment, though i also have flash5 / paint for making textures / 2-danimated pictures.
how do i go about finding the typing animation? i'd basically just like to tweak it and add a few effects to the original anim.
are there any programs i will need? is this even possible for somebody with little experience? =p
thanks in advance for any replies i get ^^,

If you have Avimator, you should have alredy had SL animations. There is a bvh file named Type or something. But I don't think (the current) Avimator allows you to edit some long existing animation files. You'll have to create it from scratch. From: Silver Meyer are there any programs i will need? is this even possible for somebody with little experience? =p In world, you need some AO script. I recommend ZHAO.

ah, i found the animation thing for it, and it does seem to let me play around with it in avmater.
what i'd like to know is how i can add effects to the actual typing animation? like a floating keyboard for example. the actual avatar animation i want to keep the same, but i want to apply some graphical effects to it.
will i be able to do this with my current tools, or will i need to get aoscript to do this?
if i can do it with these tools, are there any guides or instructions anywhere to show me how to go about it?

Animaton is just body motions. If you need a keyboard, you have to create it by prims. Maybe it is a texture work. You need a keyboard object and the script. I've seen a free keyboard kit in YadNi's junkyard. You can not only use the script but also replace your own keyboard for the original one. So, this issue has nothing to do with animation...
