daz studio help exporting .bvh

Hi I recently decided to play with daz studio - however when i go to export the bvh, I click the second life compatibility tab but when I go to upload it the animation isnt in the preview window - any ideas on what i am doing wrong in the saving area thanks in advance :)

Are you uploading to the beta grid? The animation preview there has been broken for a long time. The preview works on the main grid, and you can view without paying for it, but of course have to pay when you finally upload your animation.

Are you using the SL avatar in your file?
I had the same issue, when I started I tried it with the Victoria figure that comes with DAZ, but it has too many moving joints, or something. ;) Im not an expert.
But when you import the SL avatar into DAZ, and then export the pose or animation, that should work.
You can find the SL avatar in the downloads section of the Second Life website.
