Building A Complex Anim from Simpler Anims

By accident, I found that I could run more than one anim on the same av at the same time. After doing this, it occurred to me that this could be a useful way to build complex anims.

Instead of trying to develop the entire anim in Poser, you could develop basic movement anims, like "look up" or "point left", and combine those basic movements into something more complex, like a dance. This is similar to using modules or subroutines in structured programming.

I also can see some potential problems: a limit on how many anims can be running at the same time, synchronizing movements, and anims competing to move the same body part.

Has anyone done this? Did it work well or not? Are there any other disadvantages of this approach?

Thanks,

Pietro

ye si work like this for all my animated attachments, i animate as few as possible limb and keep the other free so i dont have anims conflicts

problem is i feel i am the only person to do it

so all my products are compatible
but only with my products:/

too many ppl use full locking animls on priority 4 by the way, as priority 3 is largely enough for some things

You can string together animations and sounds and so on and add them to a short cut..

Gestures..its why they are there.. but doesn't make the sequence smooth it will just play the anims/sounds in order.

But you can get fairly detailed.
