I would like to make animations for an ingame project however I have never used programs such as Poser, Maya or 3Dmax. My only modelling experience has been wihin SL's own tools. Where would be a good place for me to start? What programs do you recommend? I have just downloaded a demo version of Poser, will I be able to export my files into SL?
All replies greatfully recieved. Please post your 'NEWBIE to ANIMATION' questions here.

There is a FAQ stickied in this forum iin case you didn't see it.
Pricegrabber.com shows copies of Poser Artist available for 80 dollars or so. Poser Artist is adequate for use in SL.
Blender is a free program that can be used.
There is a free program created by an Vince Pluckett, an SL user, that should let you get started as easily as possible. It should be listed in the FAQ.
