Poser 6 not recognizing SL files...

Has anyone else had this problem? I downloaded the SL avatars to use in Poser 6 and when I go to open them, they are not recognized. I don't know if i should get Poser 5 or if someone knows how I can get the files to work. Please help.

A couple of things - what do you mean it is not recognizing them? Where exactly did you put them, and are you using the Mac or PC version? Also, make sure you have the latest service release of Poser 6. The initial release of Poser 6 was not compatible with SL. You can get more information here:

Your SL avatar figures should be here:

C:\Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 6\Runtime\libraries\character\SL Avatar

If the files are there, you should see the figures if you select Figures-->SL Avatar from the library in Poser.
