I've been using Qavimator and have made a few poses to use in a simple stand AO.

When used, the current AV i use it works fine. But when used on a different AV, different height, different body size, the AV looks like it's floating.

Im pretty sure thats all to do with the height differences - the game normalises everything to your upload model, so if some limb lengths are shorter on your in game avatar compared to your animation program avatar (such as the legs) the relative position of the hips will end up with you floating slightly above the ground - for instance.

On a normal avatar (where dashes are the length of the legs)

on a shorter avatar

I've been playing around with different height/sized AVs to see what happens.

And the results are that:

1. Bigger sized AVs, generally taller than my original AV tend to float above the ground. The bigger they are, the higher they go.

2. Smaller sized AVs, shorter or smaller than my original AV, tend to sink into the ground a bit. The smaller they are, the more they sink into the ground.

So, should i just start out with a larger sized aV in the beginning? or is there a way to make the pose animation keeps all AVs, no matter the size, at the same position relative to the ground.

It's rather frustrating to see it work wonderfully for one AV and the next it looks crappy.

Nope no way to do it so it works well with everyone. Shopping for animations is a mix between finding the right style and quality plus avatar proportions that are close. 'eh it makes it so there are a number of different 'markets'
