When you log in Second Life..Open the Find tab and click the places tab under search type animations a list will appear of places that sell animations and poses.. Have fun:p

to use them, find it in your inventory (I suggest making an anim directory), you can activate them, then they can be triggered from the chat bar and chat text.

can write script and put on object so that when you equip/attach it, it animates you (works well for dances etc).

Don't forget to activate some of your default gestures. If they are not already in your gestures directory in your regular directory (as opposed to your library directory) you will want to move some of the particular ones you desire. As you discover more that you like, you can move others, then activate as many as you want to use. Rclick on them, and select activate.

Q?: How do know if they are activated?
A!: you can see they are emboldened in white and have in parens ";(activated)" (or something similar).

Next use control G.

That activates your gestures dialog window. From there you can intuitively change how you wish these gestures to be activated, and what your avatar will say when they are activated.

I hope that helps, I would add more detail, but this is from memory. IM me if you see me in world.

so i have a pose pack that i purchased. i have it my inventory. what do i do with it then? I tried dragging it out but it simply placed a copy on the ground. I tried to attach it to my avatar, and ended up with a big square sign on my neck... i'm doing something wrong, obviously...

When it's on the ground or attached to your head, right click it and choose EDIT. Then go to the Contents tab and wait for the contents to load. If all the poses/anims are free to copy/transfer, you can just drag and drop them into your Animations folder in your inventory.

There's an easier way to do it, if you have permission to modify the box. Set it to "Sell Contents" and set the price to L$0. Then use the pie menu to buy the contents for L$0. It will instantly transfer the entire contents over to your inventory and even create a folder for you with the same name as the object. It beats having to drag every single animation or pose out of the box one at a time.

If you received this box for free or for sale and you can't set it to "Sell Contents" for L$0, than contact the person who sold it to you and teach them the trick. Your investment will save hundreds of people the agony of dragging dozens of items between folders.
