I purchased a couples swing thing and when you lay on one of the pose balls your feet go through the item.. avatarrs dont match up either... and I paid a good amount for it!! The one on display it worked fine.

Problem is .... creator is on "vacation" until the end of Dec or whatever and I can not adjust the pose ball so we can fit together... SO now im thinking great, I bought another POS to add to my POS folder in inventory...

Anyway to adjust this when you don't have permissions? or am I SOL? And why would a creator make these without makeing them modifiable?!?!?!?

It really depends on how the furniture was designed. Sometimes just the scripts inside the furniture are no mod but the actual prims are. I'd say if you try rezzing the swing to the ground and then try to move the poseball and you can't.. then you probably have to wait for the creator to help you. There are some furniture that rezzes balls via a menu. If you have that then look at the menu options. Why would they make it that way? I don't know.

Since you mentioned poseballs, I assume the swing has two poseballs. Right click it and select EDIT. Then, on the left, click "Edit Linked Parts" and then click the pose ball you want to adjust

Once you have it selected, Right click the pose ball and "SIT HERE' ( or whatever the appropriated selection is to use it) . Now, use the Edit arrows ... carefully and slowly .. to move your av to the proper position.

Last, close the Edit window.
