Hello, I'm trying to learn to make custom animations for SL, and while I've seen mention of Blender in the forums, I didn't see anything about using Blender for SL. I've never used blender, but I have no other real alternatives for doing this, the free anims being built flake out on my system and Poser is beyound my price range.
1) Is there a good Blender tutorial that would be good for SL animations? (Basics, like closing the thing. @_@)
2) I read on the forums someplace about an improved model for use with poser, will this work with Blender, and if so, where can I download it?
3) Any caveats for making blender work with SL?

I think Beatfox is Blender's expert. Read this article.

Rather then using Blender (Which totally confuses the crap outta me), you should use Vince Plunkett's "AvMotion" bvh editor; it's really simple and has been very useful. You can download a copy at http://www.avimator.com

I've worked with avmator, it has interesting problems on my computer. As I said, the free alternatives built for SL flake out on my system.
Thank you very much Seagell Neville. ^^
