How can I freeze the typing and the 'follow the cursor' head movements of the avatar. The turn_180 trick doesn't work for me because, well, your facing backwards. And the avatar needs to be able to move location, but without the automatic animations. So, essentially, I need to disable the automatic animations.

The reason of your AV moving is this. And setting priority 4, your AV won't move.
But "And the avatar needs to be able to move location"? Yeah, If you do above, you can move loacation with freezing style, no walking. Is this what you want?

Thanks Seagel,

Can I apply this in some way by LSL, without creating and uploading a new annimation? The final pose should be something like a military style attention. The purpose of all this is to stabelize a set of large attachements. I mean LARGE, extending up to 30 meters from the avatars location in space. The whole assembly can be many seperate attachements, with the avatar in the center. The whole assembly is only used off ground, so walking is not an issue, but flying is.

If I can only do this with a annimation upload, I guess it would be the attention pose with the priority 4 suggesgted in your link.

Could any of the stock poses be twicked in this way?

If you want to do this by LSL, I guess it is easier though I've not tried it. It is the same way with AO (Animation Overrider). Just stop default animations by llStopAnimation, and replace your animations. AO allows you to also choose your deeds which should be replaced so that you can fly. You can get AO in Yadni's junk yard or somewhere.

It doesn't appear that I can disable the auotmatic animations with LSL. Perhaps I'm missing something ... it's happened before ... all to often.

I may need an animation to do this.

Can any of you annimators give me an offer? I think what I may need is a single frame, military attention pose with all movement locked up tight.
