I have a handful of floor-sitting poses which I would like to remake because I think either the priority levels are wrong, or various things are keyframed which they shouldn't be (e.g. the head) - so I just want to check I've identified the right problems. I'll describe a couple I'm unsure of...
Case one - Avatar in sitting position, hands resting in lap. When they type, the upper body moves backwards as their hands move typing - when they stop, they sit back forwards and put their hands in their lap.
I think - All limbs must have keyframes otherwise the hands would be sticking out sideways, but the priority was set below (or equal to? I don't know how that works) that of typing (2, yes?).
Case two - this one confuses the heck out of me. The avatar is leaning back supported by the right arm. The left arm however is free - it moves when typing and editing.
I think - haven't a clue. I think this might come back to having the *same* priority level as they typing animation, but then why does the right arm not move? I suppose it's possible that the left doesn't have a keyframe, but it's hard to tell what angle its held at 'naturally'.
If anyone could confirm/deny/explain these, I'd be very pleased. And aside from that, I think finally I've come to three questions -
Ideally, what upload priority/settings in Poser would be required to position the hands differently from the default, but still allow them to move to type etc. Am I right to think they'd have a keyframed position in Poser, but the priority on upload would be set to below 2?
What happens when an animation is uploaded with the *same* priority level as something else (e.g. typing) - which one wins?
And is there any way to recreate the 'one hand fixed, one free' situation in the second case I mentioned, or is it likely the case that the 'free' hand had no keyframe but the animation was uploaded as higher priority than the typing anim?
Thanks for your help. Sorry that was a bit rambling, I suppose I'm trying to work things out as I go.
