Sitting animations

I just started with Poser 6. I made a sitting position in Poser 6 with legs apart to sit astride a bird. However, the avatar sits with legs closed on bird, not apart. If I play the animation while my AV is standing, not mounted on bird, the legs go apart in the correct position.

I am sure it is something simple I don't know.. how do I tell SL and/or poser that I want the position I made to be a sitting position?

Thanks for your help and patience.

The SL default sitting animation might override your animation. Try to set priority 4 when you upload your animation.
