The one tip that helped me a lot was the option to disable automatic keying of the camera. I Hept manually deleting the keyframe in the animation palette.
Maybe there is a simple solution to the other probleem I keep having. Almost every time I export an animation to BVH , Poser suddenly makes all frames keyframes. I suspect it has something to do with the last frame? I could imagine this when Inverse Kinematics is turned on, but generally I keep it off.
So, is this a feature or a bug ?

I believe it's inherent to the BVH file format, where every frame is essentially a keyframe. I may be wrong, but that's how I've always thought of it, and every animation tool I've used writes .bvh files that way. .

Make sure you have the latest service packs, this is a bug that was fixed in one of the service releases.

Does that mean that Poser makes the frames of the *Poser* anim all keyframes? Not just the ones in the .bvh? If that's the case, then wow that's an interesting bug to have slipped past the QA department.

Yes, when you exported it would convert all frames to keyframes. A real problem if you hadn't saved first or made the mistake of saving after exporting.
