Stop the Walking!

I have finished a static animation pose and want to do two things:

1. Attach it to my hand so that the entire body assumes the new animation.
2. Move my body through the environment without the walk animation taking over.

Basically I'm making a pose for a vehicle that you "attach" rather than "ride."

I've been able to assume the pose, but whenever I move through the environment, the avatar overrides the animation and begins walking.

Any suggestions on how this is accomplished?

There may well be better ways but it occurs to me you could always put the static anim into one of the "walk" positions in an AO. If you use ZHAO you could switch between your normal walk and the static anim quite quickly from the HUD.

/me now waits for someone to come up with something far better.

Set priority to 4 when you upload the animation.

I uploaded the anim as a priority four and it stopped the walking, but the body is still bobbing left and right as it moves through space. Sure would have been a sweet solution, but there must be a better one out there. Suzi, I'm off to try your solution next.

Define bobbing? Are you talking about the default movement of the body?

Try setting the other bones beyond 0, that should 'lock' them to stop the 'bobbing'
