FlipperPA Peregrine has recorded an episode of TechTV that has highlights of the recent New Moves animation contest in San Francisco!

I recompressed the files and made the audio compatible with MacOS. They can be downloaded here.

The files can be played with the free QuickTime player from Apple in WinXP or MacOS or with Mplayer in Linux or MacOS.

Thanks FlipperPA!

Wow! I'm resurrecting an old thread here for this news. :D

Over the past few months since I've made the Thriller video, I've been contacted by dozens of folks wondering if they could use the film to promote SL, as material for a presentation on machinima, and for inclusion in various film festivals.

Most recently I found that the video was shown on Machinima night by Pirate Cinema Berlin. I've never really done anything before in RL that's managed to make it around the globe like this animation has. It's quite a strange experience. :D

I thought I'd post this to encourage other potential machinists in SL to give it a try. You never know, it might be a ticket to your 15 minutes of fame. ;)

This video cracked me up enormously before I ever came into SL. I must say it helped attract me to sign up.

I'd just like to say great job to everyone who worked on the project :D Bringing back the classics. I think MJ would b proud; If he wasn't knee deep in litigation.

Only knee deep? Last I heard, he was up to what remains of his nose in litigation. ;)
