I have been trying to make poses with Poser 5 using 2 key frames. One is the default pose, and the second is the desired pose. If I start with the default pose and manipulate it, being careful not to move the neck and head, then I get the desired result - a pose where the head and neck move but all the rest remains "in pose."
With some poses in Poser5, I start with a pose that has moved head and neck. I want to manipulate these poses to create a new pose .. but I want the head and neck to be free to move. I have not been successful in "undoing" the head/neck movement to produce a new pose where head and neck are free in SL. I compare frame one and two, and make sure that the dial numbers for neck and head are the same in both the default pose and my desired pose. However, when I export to bvh and upload to SL, the head and neck are rigid.
How can I "release" head and neck on a pose? Either in Poser 5 or in editing the *.bvh file directly, I want to disconnect head and neck as if it were originally done that way. Any insight? Thanks.

Hi CyanAura, If you'd like the head and neck to move freely, at any upload priority including pri-4, just remove the neck and head key frames on the animation palette in frame 2 before you export to bvh.
If your animation has more than 2 frames, delete the neck and head key frames across the animation palette. To do this across multiple frames in Poser 5:
1. Left click to select the neck key frame on frame 2 in the animation palette 2. Hold down the shift key and left click the head key frame on frame 2. 3. Scroll across to the last frame of your animation, hold down shift again and left click the neck key frame and the head key frame. (That will select all of the head and neck frames across your animation timeline.) 4. Press delete to remove neck and head key frames.
Hope this helps.

That did it! Thanks so much. It is certainly easier doing it in Poser rather than editing the bvh file!
