Can an avatar juggle his own head?

Hi. I'm wondering lately: can an avatar separate his head from the body and juggle it or carry it around under his arm using animations? I stumbled upon a scripted guillotine in SL that deformed the user's head into a pancake, so maybe it is possible to turn avatar's neck into a thin "string" and stretch it to do things with "separated" head? Would look interesting on next Halloween or for some Nearly Headless Nick from a SL Harry Potter Fan Club ;) .

I haven't seen this yet.

But, I've been a fan of wanting avatar decapitations in SL for some time now.

I wouldn't think so..But I wouldn't have thought you could flatten a head.. So.. Who knows..

Don't furries have special head objects? I've seen one, which is very detachable.

Well, if you can make a believable model of your own head, then it is possible to rotate your real head inside your body so it looks like its not there ;P But as for what I think this question was asking, its not possible to detach body parts with an animation (boo) .

Edit: ignore that, it helps to read the whole beginning post :P

our head objects are simply prim heads that use an attachpoint on the head, in the case of my avatar (luskwood) it attaches at the nose. If I "detach" my head from my body, you'll see the ugliest ever human head, with all values turned down to make it small.

Well in the case of a furries head, you definately can use a looped animation that rotates your real head inside your body. Since you have your head at the smallest settings, you should be able to fit it inside your body without it poking out at all.

I believe Bob Bauhaus has been doing this for some time! He has a prim head that he holds (or kicks arounds with physics - funny!) and I *believe* a custom animation that flattens his normal avatar head. Good stuff!

I've been summoned! Yeah, the prim head was built to do physics. (And it still blinks! Gets the BEST reactions, I tell you!) The animation, I forget who gave it to me, but it is an animation that sticks the head into the torso. When I'm setting up the headless gag, those observant will notice the prim head upside down in the shoulder before I detach it, and rez a copy on the ground.

you can put a invsible prim on your head and create a prim head with maybe some anim that plays this juggling anim and can try to get a script that roates the prim around or something...yeah it can be done i think but it would take some time

and apparently bob does it haha

I used to do the invisiprim trick, but it leaves an unsightly mess around the shoulders, graphically, and obscures anyone behind you, visually. Some have it for the feet, and that's not so bad because they cover it over with prims and usually the legs aren't in front of anything but ground, but for the head, he animation is much more elegant.

The animation is full perms, so contact me on SL, and I'll give you a copy.
