Hi peeps,
I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have an animation which plays when the avatar sits on it but the animation doesnt always play correctly. Sometimes it will rotate the avatar just a lil bit but enough for it to look out of place. Then other times it will work in exactly the right position. I can't seem to work out what the problem is. I used the easy sit target positioner tool. Any help is much appreciated it!

Thanks.

Have you ever looked at your avatar when the default animations are playing? They go through these default moves and the avatar sometimes leans in one direction. I think what is happening is your hips/pelvis joint in frame 2 of your animation has not been moved in order to lock it in place. The hips are still rotating whenever the default animations are rotating. That's my guess at least.

It worked! Thanks so much!! I now have a new problem lol. How can make the anim appear correctly no matter the height of the avatar? Can it be done?

Mevo, that's a real problem, because you never really know the height of the avatar. You'd need to put the animation in a pose ball, use a script to determine the avatar height when they "sit" on the pose ball, and then use a script to adjust the avatars position. A lot of work!! Only you can decide if it's worth the effort to do this, or if you just set up the animation with an average height and don't worry about the 7 foot tall supermodels or the occasional 5 foot tall folks wandering around.
