Making an anim 'stick'

I read the animator FAQ and saw that you have to set the percentages in/out to 100% when uploading to make an anim 'stick'. I changed the percentages and my AV still loops over and over from default stand to anim. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

You mean defalt anim often overrides your anim? If so, see this.
Hope this helps you.

Animations that stop on last frame

Hi:

I'm not sure if this is the same question, but I'm trying to figure out how to make an animation STOP on the last frame.

Thanks!

I don't think this is the same, but all animations stop on the last frame unless you make it loop.
If you want to keep freezing your last frame's pose, don't stop it and keep doing your still pose animation, that is, if you make your animation 30 frames, try to increase the whole frames, like 60 frames and keep keyframes intact. But it is the most important thing that you have to break off the last keyframe's spline.

Hope this helps you.

Keyframe's spline?

Thanks for the reply.

My animations are not looped. But they return to the standard pose once the animation runs.

Can you tell me what "break off the last keyframe's spline" means?

Thanks!

Yup, the SL default animations would start when your animation stoped.

If I were home, I could explain it with pictures....

1. Open Animation Pallete. See, here it is.

2. You find green dots that are keyframes. And green means the spline is on. Select all the last frame's keyframes, and press the deep green button which is the most right hand side.

You'd better see Animation Palette on your referance manual for Poser to know about the spline.
