default walk animation overrides animation with highest priority

Rather a newbie question, but I cannot solve it on my own:
I created a dog walk animation (on all fours) and uploaded it (4 keyframes) with priority 4. When I play inworld, my avi moves only on the spot and when I move my avi, the default walk animation overrides my doggy animation, means while moving forward my avi walks instead of creeping. When I let loose the keyboard, my avi creeps again. Whats wrong? Can anyone help? Thanks!

That part is normal, if you mean that you picked "play in world" from inventory. Avatar movement and user animations are independent, override scripts have to force them to coincide.
From: someone
and when I move my avi, the default walk animation overrides my doggy animation, means while moving forward my avi walks instead of creeping.

That is a little strange. Does the pup walk work as expected if you drop it into an AO script as the walk? (Trying this will let you see if "play in world" is messed up in your viewer, or if the problem is really in the animation.) Also, does Advanced->Character->Animation Info report priority 4 for the dog walk? That will let you rule out upload weirdness.

The default walk can intefere slightly with an override (mostly the direction), but shouldn't clobber it that much. (Also, make sure there aren't any forgotten AOs on you, sometimes shoe makers don't even mention that they threw them in.)

I'll seond you needing an actual AO -- sounds like you're just playing the anim by itself.

Search for the ZHAO II inworld, it's free.

Thanks a lot. However I am still a pain: I have ZHAO II, everything works well but by person gets up after I finished walking (crawling) to its normal standing position. I want the person remain on all fours all the time. Can you please help again?

Muahahaha, little did you know what you were getting yourself into! To complete the effect, you'll need more animations, minimally a stand, sit and run (for the run, you could use the walk in your notecard for now, but you do want it covered because regular walks downhill can turn into running automatically).

The rest of the notecard will want to be filled in too, but you can substitute your other animations in those slots as placeholders.
