New to this-How do I create an Avatar?

This is my first time on this site and I'm having a little trouble. Can someone please tell me how to create an Avatar character??

well, you already have one if you've logged in. you probably want to customise it. there are tons of ways to do it, but i'd start with these two-

right click yourself, hit appearances, play with the sliders. BE SURE TO SAVE what you like.

find the search button at bottom of screen type free or freebies, or hit NCI or the shelter for freebies. if you have any cash at all hit yadni's junkyard. all of these can be found with the search button.
