Being new at DAZ, I didn't find a tutorial about this using the DAZ interface and was hoping that somebody would give a proper answer... But well, here's the obviously flawed way I finally made it work: - Put the whole "avatar_mesh" folder (found here <http://secondlife.com/community/avatar.php> in the Program files/DAZ/Runtime/Libraries/Character folder; - In DAZ, open Load/unassigned/people/avatar mesh/SL avatar and select the male of female mesh, at which point you'll get an "unable to locate file" message; then just click "locate" in the box and the model will load. I now avoid this by starting new animations with a scene I saved that just has the T-pose in the first frame. And if anybody can explain the proper method or indicate where a tutorial would be available, many thanks in advance
