hmmm. after trying to make a chair with a pose for lovable santa. who has to be said, slightly on the larger side.
not his fault cant upset kids giving him milk and cookies lol.

Anyway. I have found that most, sorry all, poses so far, doesnt cater for the larger av. his hands and arms dissapear into his body.
Talking of which I find that happens with alot anyway.
But even when I buy one that doesnt, they arent suited for larger av's does anyone do poses for larger av's?

On another note. why are so many places by alot of people doing ALL the same poses, I am sure a few have different but flying around all these places shpopping for poses only to have the same thing. alot are similar to theones that first came out too :-\
Just a thought :-p

I made one sitting pose for a large avatar....its in my shop on the bottom floor. You can check it if you like, and i can make you one the way you want it if you think its a *suitable size*. ( mine probably doesnt suit Santa) IM me if you like im not in SL right now but got my email ready :)

Sorry kiddo :( not a whole lot that I know of that can be done.

SCALABILITY!!! Umm, not :)

I'mma noob to the SL thing too, got a little handle on the Poser thing.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but my observation has come to, SL uses a default rig for animations, this rig is for the "average" Joe. Now people, mostly guys, myself included, make thier avis large than what this rig is initially set so the animation, even though auto-scalibility is actived on the bvh output, will really only work well with "average" Joe sized avis.

The only real way around this would be to make a custom animation for the larger avi, this will entail, usually, quite a few uploading tests to see if your avi's pulling it off to your satisfaction.

So the skinny, Large Avitar = Custom Animations

So you get to really learn some Poser or, hire someone to do customs, or find a kind and gracious volunteer like My Mackenzie to assist you :D

Until there is an update with actual scaling, ya know, that scales :D

Amanda,

I would be happy to help if you are still looking for assistance - I have done a lot of work with larger avatars for some custom poses I've done for people. Feel free to contact me, it sounds like it would be a nice little thing to do for Christmas :)
