Pole Dance Animation

Hi everyone

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this..........

I have made some new dance pole dances using QAvimator (using a pole prop) which looks great. However, when I upload them and pop them into the dance pole the avatar is nowhere near the pole and if I try to move the pole the dancer moves with it. Is there some way of adjusting this so the avatar is dancing at the pole?

I don't know what script you are using to activate the animation in the pole, but you'll need to edit that script to change the sit target. Adjusting the sit target will change the location of the animated avatar relative to the object that activates the animation. Look up LLSitTarget in the wiki for more information about how to do that.

In your animation, adjust the hip posistion to 1 or 0 on x and z axis. This should help and also adjust the llSitTarget.

it is definitely the sit target in the script... there are several free sit target setters available on Xstreet, use one of those to adjust that part of the script

EX: llSitTarget(< 0.0, 0.0, 0.3>; is a good [place to start... try adjusting each of the three values until you get what you want.... one will be right/left, another will be forward/back, the and another will be up/down - no way to tell which is which without seeing the product and

if it is a sculpty, give up now and learn to use a sittarget setter
