Hello, I'm using Qavimator to animate (just got into it and think it's pretty cool) and I recently ran into an issue I'm not sure how to solve. Basically, it's a non-looping animation of an avatar falling from a height to land flat on his back. I want the avatar to lay on the ground, but at the end of the animation, the avatar - still in the laying pose - "floats" up to be where it was at the top of the fall. What can I do to keep the avatar from floating away when the end of the animation is reached? Any help would be most appreciated...

What you do is, in the SL preview/upload widget, check "Loop" but also set the loop start point to 100%, so both the start and the end are at 100%. That way the animation will play through once then loop the last frame, leaving the avatar stuck in that last position until the animation is stopped.

When you play a non looping animation it plays and then it stops and returns you to your start point. To stay on the ground you need to actually loop the very last part of the animation. There are looping controls when you upload your animation. You need to set the loop in % to something like 99 and the out stays at 100. Try playing the preview animation and make adjustments as needed.

In animation, your real self doesn't really move. It (actually, the agent, I think) stays in one place while the avatar (what your agent looks like) moves around. That is why when the animation ends, your avatar returns. It is really just going back to doing what your agent was doing all along.
You could try something clever, like coordinating the animation with a move. That is, at the moment the animation ends, also move the agent to the place where the avatar is laying on the ground.

From: Lee Ponzu You could try something clever, like coordinating the animation with a move. That is, at the moment the animation ends, also move the agent to the place where the avatar is laying on the ground. Theoretically this idea would work, but I doubt it does in reality. Since you never know when an animation is actually displayed in the viewer (due to the different download times), these two movements (the avatar's and the agent's) will rarely be in synch. I think the best idea is to design the animations in a way that they end at the same position where they started...

I have tried shifting the avatars start point to the point where the animation ends. It doesn't look right because you will actually see your avatar shifting to the new position.
