I´ve been trying to make a good looking wing flap anim using poser, but there seem to me that there´s some body part I should move that I cant move, the object is attached to shoulder, but it seems i should move some bone not the entire shoulder, how do i do that? I dont want to make the avatar look like its having a convulsion, just make the wing flap. any ideas?

Sorry, I have little idea. There is no way to add joints to animate other than limbs that avatar has already had.
You have to make your wings just scripted objects, or use arms as wings, but it cannot help but lose normal arms. _____________________

you may want to try using the collar instead of the shoulder. You have Rotate, Shrug and Forward/back for those, which should give you a nice ani. I'd say play with Inverse Kinematics on the hands to keep the arms from flying everywhere and stick a prop (I use cylenders) onto the collars to see more or less what it looks like.
Should work |

Scripted objects I have tried that but theres no way I see to sync both wings, they work separately |

Go to EverLite, 51, 49, you'll find winged animals. They are mostly high prices but you can find a free arwing egg or a small eagle which is just L$10 on the wood floor. My respecting Jesrad Serah made the syncronized animating wings and the script was opened. I think you can draw upon it.

I have to inform you that Mickey's advice was really great. My friend made it by that way and it was really awesome. Especially, it looks better when you use the new feature, Flexible prims.

...and stick a prop (I use cylenders) onto the collars to see more or less what it looks like. Ah, I was curious about this the other day. I know you can add props in Poser - can you also 'link' them to body parts in much the same way as SL attachments to see how they'd move? EDIT: Sorry, forgot to see who was signed in again ![]() |
