I picked up the free one from reverie.. I dragged my walking, standing, and sitting poses I wanted into the AO after I dragged it onto the ground. I changed the notecard to include those for the positions I wanted to change. I double and triple checked my spelling. I typed /ao on. I'm still using the regular animations. Anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks.

Hiya I only have a couple of suggestions 1) make sure you didn't type the no copy/modify (if you animations had that), Did your animations have capital letters ie Standing? If so you have to be sure to type that aswell, along with any numbers 2) did you reset the script? 3) it could be caused due to lag ( I'm not saying that's what it is but it could be)

I don't know that particular AO but maybe you need to reset/recompile the scripts in the AO after the changes for them to take effect? IIRC the reset/recompile script options are in the dropdown Edit menu.

I take it you're using Franimation Overrider by Francis Chung. Try resetting the AO and let it re-read the notecard by saying "/ao reset".

Just making sure.. ya did attach the AO to ya body right hon? Not meaning to sound silly asking but other day a newbie asked me for help with same AO issue. I gave all the standard advice to no avail. After making the poor girl recomplie it about 20 times, after me doing the notecard to be sure it was typed correctly, and a few things that was wild guesses... about 40 minutes latter I finally figured out she never attached it. She thought it being in inventory was enough

Yes, I had this problem once, I had to type: /reset *Default Anims Yes, include the asterisk. This will have the ao re-read the notecard after you make changes to it. Make sure it is attached when you do this. You will see it reading the card.
Then type /ao on.
(forgot the last part, heh)
