Need some really simple animations

I'm designing a modular magic wand system (think Harry Potter, not Spittoonie), and I need a number of fairly basic animations to go with my spells.

All of the animations will feature the same stance (similar to a neutral fencing stance, legs at hip/shoulder width, pointing the "wand hand", and will feature some simple swishing type gestures.

Is anyone here willing to help out? Or do you know of any open-source animations that might serve as a starting point?

Funny thing I was making animations for a wand I have just before I signed on. Tell ya what, I need help getting started with the wand scripting. I'll make custom anims for you if you give me some pointers on the scripts. I've done dozens of anims and scripted a few vehicles and such. I have over 300 poses in poser so Im sure we could just modify one of those. Please IM me to let me know Id love to help!

Sure thing. Actually, I've already got a wand system selling at Wyvernclaw (In Pickerel, available under Find - I forget how to do the whole link thing, but I'll come back when I've got it).

But I'm rescripting the wand to give it better functionality and to use my own spells (Right now, the spells sold in my shop are by the terrific Perwin Rambler).

The current spell set is pretty great, though, and upgrades are free, so if you buy a wand (and IM me to join the Wyvernclaw group), you'll get a free upgrade on the wand and any updated spells once it's released.
