Newbie with animation problems

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to all this, but I seem to be having a problem with animations, particularly if embedded in furniture. If I right click and choose 'sit here' on a chair which includes an animation, I will sit, the animation will play for about half a second, then I revert back to the default animation. The bizarre thing is that this only seems to affect the lower half of my avatar; the upper body play the correct animation while the lower half only plays the default.

I can play animation in my inventory ok, but anything embedded in an object gives me this error.

Help?

Do you use an animation overrider? Sometimes those can conflict with animations in furniture. I once had something similar happening with my multipose AO. On one dance ball, I would start out dancing fine, until the AO decided it was time for the next pose. All dancing stopped. It's a sign of the animation ball (or furniture or whatever) using too low priority, being overridden by the AO when it shouldn't be.
