I have created a race car that is very low to the ground, the avatar's legs were sticking through the bottom of the car and the car was riding at a strange angle to compensate for the feet; so I created an animation in avimator to put the legs nearer to horizontal. I had thought that moving the legs out of the way would make the car ride horizontally as it should, however the car still rides only on the back wheels at about a 30 degree angle. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

Animations don't do anything to the avatar as far as the sim is concerned.
Instead, move the sit target up and then create an animation to move the avatar's image down.

Thanks! It created a new problem though. The car is in the right spot and so is the avatar until the car moves forward, at which point the avatar moves up to the actual sit target. Any idea why that happens?

You're not keeping the animation playing, perhaps?

Thanks! I just set it on a timer playing every tenth of a second and it works well

You shouldn't need to do that, and it's bad practice. Is the animation itself (a) high priority, and (b) looped?

You're right it just wasn't looped. It's fixed now. Thanks!
