Now i was trying to make an animation (Qavimator). I click the hip, i move where i need, and then i put the end animation to move a little far. the problem is when i play it, it stops in the middle of the animation. From what i understood it's cause there is a cube form stopping the pose. Now, I want to make it start in that hip pose, not elevated from the ground, but from where i say it to be. Someone can post an example? I watched many times the tutorial for animating, but many of those stops comes in the timeline, even if i optimize it. Help. -------- I hoped now could work adding start and end triangles but it doesn't loop, if it loops, it works until the middle of the animation and it cames back. I don't understand... -------------------- Ok, understood why: The Loop was setted to half animation * hits his head* Always need to check the loop frames

QAvimator updates?

I don't which system you are using. As for me, current QAvimator doesn't work with Intel-based Mac anymore and either the new OS Leopard. Does anyone have an alternative option to recommend? I am trying to work out animating avatar, import/export BVH files with Maya, Motion Builder, or 3D Max. But not yet completely sure which one really is going to work. Please help out. Thanks a lot

Maya does work, once you get used to the work flow, and the fact that rotations on small avatars' arm joints for some reason are too small to work correctly on large ones. I find myself having to over-animate those parts to compensate.

Maya 2008

I am not sure if Orion Neville's Second Life rig works properly on Maya 2008, which is the only available copy I have access to. Tight, shin, and foot don't seem to work like how they are in QAvimator.
An error message shows when I imported the rig:
"Errors have occurred while reading this scene that may result in data loss. Please check the Script Editor for details."
I will appreciate any feedbacks.
