Hi all,
I'm working to a slow lapdance animation now using Poser. It should run in a poseball whne ready.

To have hips swing with good feet position I'm using IK feature. Normally it works pretty good and makes my work easier but in this one I have some jerk when uploaded:
even in Poser the anim runs good, and the BVH is created good (checked with BVHacker skeleton) when inworld the avi shows an evident tremor to the legs during the swing, like legs are fighting to keep their position.

I tried to run the anim inside a poseball too to be indipendent from the ground level, but nothing.

Now I don't know what correct because in my program the motion runs good e smooth...And if i turn IK off feet starts to slide on the floor.

Any ideas?

Ty

Try key framing all the frames of the section of the animation in question and then turning off IK, reexport the BVH and see if that helps. I have found that having IK turned on during export to BVH can sometimes produce odd results.

I don't know how large a movement you are animating here - but you may be pulling the avatar mesh to the limit. If you make the movement slightly smaller, does this improve it?

With IK i had very good and bad results. I'll make others experiments when have time KF every frame and correct them manually with IK turned off.

How can i pull the mesh to the limits if I'm not using human limits? It shouldn't. The avatars too doesn't use limits...I can understand a feet sinking into the ground...

The movement is not that large Deira, but a slow hip swinging movements. When i saw a weird body part in shin and foot (with IK turned on) i rotate a little the thigh and all came back normal, but this should be a sort of poser bug because with IK it should move upper body parts (nearer to hips) automatically according with feet (in my case).
Anyway, when i saved all seems ok and smooth.

Again others tremors on a sit pose. It happens when my figure swing hips mostly. The avi sit swinging hips slowly and moving stomach and chest in the opposite direction. It runs great in poser, and the bvh is good too. But it has "shakes" at the end of each swing inworld!

Turned off IK and rexport bvh. Still good in programs...But now tremors are transfered to the torso part: it shakes on each KF more or less!

Really depressed now.

No other suggestions, right?

Watch things like reaching rotation limits in Poser, ie: rotation is at 359 degrees and next frame instead of going to 360 goes to 0. This will look perfect in Poser but may run in to problems when imported in to SL.
