I've got some typical newbie questions, sorry if you've answered them a million times before, but I did try and do some searches before I posted.
Can you sync an object animation with an avatar animation? For instance, if I was wearing wings on my spine, and I wanted to flap the wings and flap my arms at the same time, in sync, can that be done? How? What about something slightly more complex, like swinging my tail to the left when I put my left foot down, and and to the right when I put my right foot down (while walking, of course).
How can you make an animation where your body below the waist is priority 4, your head is priority -1 (or whatever the lowest is), and your upper body and arms are priority 1?
Thanks for helping, I'm so new to this stuff so any info at all will be appreciated.

Hmm lets see, for the wings, if you have them scripted to flap already, you could have an animation of your arms flapping once that the script plays every time it flaps the wings. The tail might be a lil more difficult to manage, but same idea.
As for the animation with multiple priorities, in a single animation it is only possible to have two priorities, the number you uploaded at or -1. Now, with your example, you could have two animations playing at once to get the effect you're going for. You could have one with the legs at priority 4 and the head at -1, then with the other, have the upper body/arms at 1 and everything else at -1. Playing at the same time, those animations should mesh together how you're looking for it to work.
Edit: Just a little something about setting things to -1 priority. If a body part doesnt move between frame 1 and 2 in your animation, the priority on that body part will be -1 in SL. Conversely, if it moves, even slightly, it will have the priority that the animation was uploaded at.

But note that the upper body/arms of priority 1 will be overriden by the built in animations in fact.
