How do I close my avvy's hand? It can't be done in the animation software, it is done when you upload an animation by selecting a hand pose (fist) when previewing it. ![]() (Use the ease in and out to affect the speed of hand closing...) _____________________

Ok, thanks for the tip! Another question...and Ill grant this one is slightly more noobish..how do I get the position to fix once the anim completes, instead of going back to default?

If you're talking about keeping the hand closed in a fist... there's no way to do it. Unless the most recent patch changed this... the current system doesn't really listen much to what we set the hand animation to.
If you're talking about your animation in general.. the torso...limbs...etc. When you first upload the animation there is a checkbox for looping the animation. There are also the in and out percentages for the loop to sort of control what parts of the animation you want to loop. Basically just go into the animation upload screen and modify these values and watch the preview animation to see how it looks. |

The bug is that the hand position isn't applied when you play the animation directly, as in double click the animation file and hit the Play button. Hand positions do work when playing the animation from poseballs. I am unsure about attachments, haven't paid attention to that specifically.

Selecting the check box that says "Loop" when you upload will stop your avatar from going back to whatever animation was playing before. Setting the facial expression and hand position is extremely annoying, because while it does do what you tell it to, it only lasts a few seconds, and then you're right back at a relaxed hand position and default facial expression. No way around it unfortunately.

No way around it unfortunately. Actually, for facial expressions, the way around it is to play the expression repeatedly from a script. ![]() _____________________

^Yeah, if it's just a pose or facial expression you can script it to repeat (poses work because it starts the hand position again without any obvious re-start of the animation). But an actual animation longer than a few frames... You're mostly out of luck.
