I've inadvertently colored the background of my Poser desktop black. Likewise, I somehow colored the pants on the SL Man. I know how to change colors inside the viewing window -- that's described in the manual -- but I can't figure either how to adjust the color of my Poser desktop or of the SL avatars' clothing. Can anyone help?
Incidentally, I can live with the black background, and I especially like the idea of changing the colors on the SL default avatars. I sometimes find it hard to keep track of figures when I have two or more figures in a scene, and colors would help.

Make sure which button is selected on Editing Tools where your render window above. If you selected Grouping, your avatar would be black. Try press another button.
aww. If you just want to change color of avatar, you can change it in the material room.

Thanks. I think I see how to color avi's now. The one remaining mystery is how to change the background color of the Poser desktop. Not the render window, but the stuff behind the render window. Right now it's black, which actually may not be such a bad choice -- easy on the eyes and all. I just don't know if I've inadvertently blacked out part of the interface! I don't think I have.
