Poser Question: How to keep main camera still?

How does one pan around one's scene in Poser without constantly adding changes to the position of the main camera? I want to see the scene straight-on continuously. As is, every time I pan around, the keyframe includes the new position of my main camera. I suppose I could edit every keyframe manually to fix this, but that seems tedious. Any advice?

It's been awhile since I use animations in Poser, but I had this problem and hated it.

My strategy:

1. Don't worry about the camera until the animation is done.

2. Go into the palette and drag-select every frame on the camera but the first one. You can do a mass-delete that way, but I can't remember the keystroke. :(

3. Copy the first frame for the camera to the last frame. Again, I've forgotten the key combination.

If there's a cleaner way to do it, I'd love to know, too.

Thanks. But I can't find the command to delete all changes in the camera. How does one edit an individual element? Pressing delete doesn't seem to do it.

Arggh, I'm at work now...Poser's on the other side of town for the next few hours, and it's been awhile since I dinked with this myself.

Tell you what, if someone more helpful hasn't come along by the time I get home, I'll futz with Poser to try to remember exactly how to do this. I vagely remember all the alt-shift-ctrl keystroke stuff for the animation palette being a little dorkier than it needed to be...

Click the little key symbol in the bottom right.

One of the listing on the left will be your main camera.

Delete any key frames along this entire line, and you will be left with default views throughout. If you move the camera at any point to make adjustments to your animation, poser will automatically make a key frmae in your camera for taht movement. So you may need to pop back in and delete it again if its annoying.

You could always make every frame key in the camera and set it to the same view, that;d keep it still. i dont have this problem ^^

Double click the camera control thingy (that ball with the arrows on it)

It will bring up properties for the camera... uncheck the animating box

enjoy
