In my inventory i have the "i wanna cookie" gesture. I want to make a pose ball and put the gesture/animation in it (so that it fits into a scene i am creating).

So - i have a generic play pose script - put it doesn't work for gestures i guess. How do i get the gesture to work on a pose ball?

There has to be a simple script that will help. Any suggestions?

The sound itself you cant import....regarding the animation... you always need to have the animation itself for it (if its no SL integrated animation). Gestures are basically accessing the key of the animation and sound as far as i know. Correct me if i am wrong

As Naval said, gestures are separate and can't be accessed from a script unfortunately, but some of the elements could be played from a script (not chat basically). Also, gestures unfortunately can't loop their actions...

I don't know that gesture, but if it has an animation or sound, you can put those in the poseball contents and then play them from the poseball script by name. Otherwise you would need to find their keys from inventory (copy UUID by right-clicking) and play them that way.

If it uses default or built in animations, you can get those names from here:

To add a sound to the poseball script, use llPlaySound(string sound, float volume)

hth! :)
