Standing to crouching / or sitting

Hi
I hope this is not too simple to ask.

Imagine a standing pose, and from that pose the avi bends its knees and goes into a crouch.
The feet (in poser) stay locked to the ground.

In SL though, the feet move upwards towards the hip that comes downwards and the two meet in the middle, leaving the avi float instead of being planted on the ground.

So how can i avoid that the feet, that weren't even animated, move upwards when all that moves is the hip.

does it make sense ?

I started to animate the feet together with the hip below the ground just so when uploaded to sl it looks as if the feet stay on the ground.
It's a weird workaround and i am still not sure if i am just missing somthing.

i am using poser7.

thanks for any advice

I wish I had a nice simple answer! I have only managed to deal with this by trial and error - keep modifying the animation in Poser and uploading it to SL until it looked right. (Lots of time spent on the beta grid.) I wish someone could come up with a more precise solution to this one!
