how to fix "fast arms" after running override

Ok, I did my research last night and made an override in Avimator that folds up my legs into my body. Got it into SL and it works great with my new AV that I just finished.

Couple of minor problems though that I'd like to fix.

Since his feet are no longer on the ground and are bent up and hidden, the av walks and swings his arms very fast. Also, when I fly he doesn't take up the traditional flying pose. Instead he just sits upright like he does when walking.

Its a priority 4 override, as has been repeatedly recommended.

Any suggestions on how to fix these little problems?

Thanks

Presumably you animated the hips (specifically, the forward/back pitch of the hips) because if you did not then it would adopt the flying pose fine. There's your fix; do not animate any part other than the legs for folding up. Anything you do not animate, SL will have control of.

Im doing this through avimator.

I'm removing the joint limits.
Folding up the feet into the calves.
Folding up the calves into the thighs.
Folding the thighs up into the body.

The thighs are connected to the pelvis. So, if by not animating the hips you mean dont fold the thighs up into the body, then I'm going to have to find another solution.

Animating the thighs is fine, just don't touch the hips/pelvis. You must make sure you have not made any changes to the hips, in particluar leaning forward/backward, from the first frame.
