This has never happen to me before...

Please save your work and quit soon. You may also need to increase the amount of memory allocated to Poser.

Ummm HUH? How the heck do I allow it more memory? and my hard drive is damn near empty... eek!

I just found out this was due to an XP update... time for a system restore! UGH!

Google suggests this might have something to do with missing files. If not, how much physical RAM do you actually have? ("Memory" in this context refers to RAM.) What is your virtual memory usage like?

If you hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete while Poser is running, what do the "Mem Usage" and "VM Size" entries for poser.exe (or whatever) say? (Note that you may need to select View > Select Columns > VM Size to enable virtual memory reporting.)

I had a problem like this with another MMPORG...you probably should upgrade your RAM but temporarily assign more virutal memory. Also you might need to close some applications while Poser runs. Wish I could remember how to increase virtual memory...it's been a long time since I had to do it.

Ummm HUH? How the heck do I allow it more memory? and my hard drive is damn near empty... eek!

Try doing a ctrl-alt-del and closing some programs .. may get you a few megs free or more.

Oh and if you're using Xp you usually have to click task manager and go to processes.

2-3k? Did you mean 2-3gig?

Windows by default will choose the size of the virtual memory - it's usually a smart idea to keep it this way.

Check the free space on your C: drive... you should have at least 3 gigs free between SL and normal windows running and still have free space for programs

At risk of stating the obvious, also make sure that your computer is free of spyware and other things that shouldn't be running.
