Hey ive been reading up and learning some of the tips n tricks of animating from this section of the forum very good stuff thanks to all contributors.
However im still perplexed by an issue that arises after uploading animations into SL. Ive noticed that if my animation (made on Qavimator) is playing and i zoom out my avatar will lean or tip to one side the further out i zoom the more he wants to lean over if i zoom back in he will move back toward an upright position as if somehow the values of zoom in / out are related to the angle of tip. Very strange stuff i even noticed this happening in Torleys new tutorial!
Is this Qavimator specific? Can it be overcome ?
Ty in advance for any help offered.

Very odd, indeed. There's nothing particularly special about animations made with qavimator that I can think of which might cause that; it sounds like a client bug.

:\ yah, i agree client-side bug, although i only saw it a couple clients ago and haven't seen it since then. maybe because i'm keeping 'avatar imposters' on now, if even i set it to 'high' oftentimes... your avi is not really tipping; otherwise there'd be a lot more complaints about the prob lol - only from far-away views. never looked up a jira on it, so don't know what the current status of it is...

I see ok well i guess in a sense its a relief i was more worried about the quality factor of any possible releases that included animations didnt want crappy animations however if its "just me" as it where then no worries i guess part n parcel of the ol SL randomness thx for replies X)

You might accidentally have zoomed in or out; try control-9 (to reset to normal lens), or control-8 and control-0 to zoom out and in. See if that affects this tipping you're describing.
Though, that would affect the whole world, not just your avatar.
I've never seen anthing like what you're talking about.

It's not your uploaded animations. I've seen people tipping over who were just standing around at a welcome area. Not sure what it is. It's only when I cam away a certain distance from people. Not avatar impostors either.

Yep, used to see this with the 1.18 client, and it just seems more obvious now with Avatar impostors. Not sure when it began happening.
