it will be used for sl animations and avatar editing...seems like it
LL logo is on their site too, BUT is an external software at this point, so how will it work for everybody in SL?

It's my understanding that LL licensed that years ago. Considering how long it took them to get to Havok, you may want to wait a few years more before asking this question.
