When I upload an animation there is a box for priority. I know this allows us to override other animations playing. What I would like to know is what the numbers mean.

Will a 1 override all others or is it a 5?

I just am not sure which end of the scale is high LOL

Specifically I want to set it so that a couple cuddling on one of my bits of furniture Doesn't have the mood spoiled by the typing animation of SL.

4 override all

but i try to avoid it, it isnt needed for poseblocks or poseballs 3 is enough if you dont want the hands to type when talking

for an AO, if you have standing positions they need to be priority 4 cause turning on yourself will break em (LL animation)
but since AO usually shut down the normal walking anims before starting your own, you can usually be lower priority for this.

try to choose your priority sanely because too many anims here are simply priority 4 and fuck up with any other animated attachments.

Smalla nims like the pose for holding a laptop or a phone need to be rpiority 4 so when you do stuffs, your arm stay in position no matter what.

also, keep in mind anims that have a keyframe on the pelvis will override the distance of your av relative to ground (good for big boots) but will also lock the turn and panning fo your hips (can look ugly sometimes).

i know priority 1 and 2 anims are rarely used because almost any other anim will override them but they might be fair enough for a classic chair animation.

Anybody can complete my babbling?

Thanks you so much!

most of what I have done is set to 2 but I really find the typing annoying on a cuddle or kiss pose so I think I will give 3 a shot for those.
