For a while i've needed to know how to do this but for an animation that took a couple min id usualy just redo it..anyway is there a way to either change the speed in poser(add/remove frames) or changed the speed it plays at inside of SL? Thanks in advanced for any responses.

Edit the bvh file in Notepad, or any other plain text editor (not Word!). A few pages from the top of the file you should find some lines like this: MOTION Frames: 10 Frame Time: 0.033333
The number after Frame Time is the amount of time (in seconds, I believe) to display each frame. Make the number larger for slower animations, smaller for faster ones. Save the file, then re-upload to Second Life! No additional editing in Poser needed. You'll probably need to test the animation a few times before you get the exact speed you're looking for. Hope this helps!

i dont know if this works in other versions.. i have poser 5 and it has worked for me.
add more frames at the end, however long you want it to be.
animation drop down menu -> retime animation.
for instance... you have a 60 frame animation, but you want to 1/2 the speed. change the total amount of frames to 120. go into retime animation.. change source frames to 1 - 60 with the destination frames 1-120.
this way if something goofs, which i haven't had an issue with yet, you can still change things.
