Can you use custom animations with gestures? It doesn't seem to work at all for me so far. Several of them are No Copy, but some of them are No Modify too. What's the point in getting animations you can't incorporate into your own movements?

*virtually* all animations are custom. and ya, you can incorperate them into gestures...i dunno though about how that works when they have permissions restrictions. I wouldn't think that would keep you from making a gesture with it. Try dragging the anim you want to use from your inventory onto the little white box in the gesture editor window?

If animations are set no-mod, you can't select it on the gesture panel. Other products usually can be set modifiable, but if animations were done so, you could distribute it by getting in a gesture file. So every animation product is set no-mod. But it is shame. I'd also like to use it as gesture.
Why don't animation vendors sell their products with modifiable gesture files together?

Hmm. Some of them that I have are set No Copy but claim you can modify them. But still its a no go. Thing is, for example, the faint animation I've seen used by others in what appears to be gestures and it claims you can modify it. But still I can't get it to work in gestures. Bah.

Oh, sorry, I've never seen no copy and modifiable files because no copy files are hardly distributed and products are usually restricted all perms. So it needs the both perms for you to get in your gestures. Can this be an answer for you? hmm but what about no transfer? It might be needed full perms... sorry, not sure. Anyway, is it good thing that vendors sell their animations together with their gestures?

Ok,
An animations must have full permisions granted to work in a gesture. If any of the three boxes are unchecked, it will not allow you to drop them in a gestures. They will work by using a script though.
At Mr. P's I have hundreds of custom gestures.
